Distinctive Custom Cabinetry
Cabinets are likely to be one of the biggest investments you will make when remodeling or building a custom home. Your cabinets should last for many years and because they are used daily they have to be able to stand up to wear and tear. They’re also a critical part of the construction process. If the cabinets are not ordered or delivered on time, the finishing stage of the project will be derailed. That’s why we offer furniture grade cabinetry directly to our clients with no middle man involved. This provides cost-savings for our clients and gives us more control over the schedule and the quality of the finished product.
When selecting cabinetry, make sure to look for these distinctive hallmarks:
- Hand-crafted in the USA
- All birch or maple ¾” plywood construction
- Solid birch or maple drawer boxes with dovetail joinery
- Concealed, under-mount drawer slides to support heavy loads
- Full-extension drawers (no more digging around for items in the back of drawers)
- Solid bullnose plywood shelving (no sharp edges)
- Natural birch or maple interiors (no melamine)
- Soft-close doors and drawers
- Limited Lifetime Warranty
Available wood species include Maple, White and Red Oak, Knotty Pine, Ash, Hickory, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, Lyptus and Quarter Sawn Oak to name just a few. Finishes are from a seemingly endless selection of paints, glazes, stains and custom creations including hand distressing, crackle and wormholes. We have over 60 door styles that can be varied to achieve most any look.
We offer full overlay as well as face frame and frameless construction. Are you interested in an old-world look? Consider inset cabinetry. The doors and drawers fit precisely into the box frame as opposed to overlay doors and drawers which simply close on top of the frame. Inset cabinetry is much harder to build because the tolerances are tight and have to be just right for the doors and drawers to function properly. It takes a skilled craftsman to build inset cabinetry. Typically this style of cabinetry is an expensive upgrade but we offer this furniture quality cabinetry as a standard option.
Pretty boxes are pretty worthless if they’re not designed to work hard. Organizers and accessories inside cabinetry make all the difference. Some of the available options include:
- Adjustable shelving
- Dividers within drawers
- Roll-out trays and bins
- Tall pantry pull outs
- Cabinets that swivel out to make use of blind space
- Pull-out spice racks
- Lazy Susans
- Open shelves and bookcases
